A PRAYER

Hi Lord, it’s me. We are getting older and things are getting ....bad here. Petrol prices are too high, no jobs, and food and  living costs too high.
I know some have taken you out of our schools, government and even Christmas, but Lord I'm asking you to come back and re-bless South Africa. We really need you!
There are more of us who want you than those who don't!
Thank You Lord, I Love You. Please bring peace to the  world.

If you agree, send it on---if not, just delete. Only you & the Lord will know.

GOOD FRIDAY

A look of love was on His face,
The thorns were on His head
The blood was on the scarlet robe,
And stained it crimson red
And though His eyes were on the crowd that day
He looked ahead in time
'cause when He was on the cross
I was on his mind.

LITTLE NOAH

To everyone who sent Noah a Christmas card...he received over a million cards. He passed away this morning (11/23) at 8 a.m. I just received an email from a friend who is with the cancer support group.

I got this information from my friends on Face Book.
I really feel sad, as I am sure those of you who have read this will feel the same.
God has the little one now, no pain and at peace.
God Bless his family, and give them strength.

ELECTION

South Africa is going to the Polls on Wednesday. There are 16 Political Parties to choose from.
The ANC is the present Government, offical opposition is the Democratic Alliance. Cope is a party recently formed, which is a split away from the ANC. But I do not know if they have the experience or been on the scene long enough.
As always it is good to have a good opposition, so we hope for that. I do not think the ANC will be defeted. The opinian polls have predicted that ANC 60% DA 15% and COPE 15%.
There has been some ill feelings at political gatherings between ANC and COPE. However we have bee assured by the IEC and the police that voting will be peaceful.
From Our Church Leaflet:
Dear Heavenly Father we pray for our country at this time of the elections. We earnestly beseech you that calm may prevail and a freedom from violence so that all my be able to vote without fear or hindrance. May you will prevail. Guide us as to whom we whould vote for. We pray that all who are elected may realize that all authority comes from you. May they accept the solemn responsiblility of the task ahead and that they are accountable to all our citizens and above all, to you. May they rule with justice and integrity for the good of our country and not self advancement. We entrust this our Land into Your hands.
In Jesus Name. Amen.

Please pray with us

JADE GOODY

So poor old Jade has left us. I am glad she made her peace with The Lord.

Hope he keeps a close eye on those boys of hers, at least she tried he put them on the path before she left them poor little souls. That husband of hers looks so lovely like a saint, which I am sure he is not really, I hope the example he sets for those children is going to be the right one. Is he the father of the boys.

It is a pity she did not mend her ways a while ago, or do you think that was to be different and make her way in the media? I only saw her in the last episode and I really hope God forgot to watch TV that night. Rest in Peace Jade.

SILLY OLD BILLY

Saturday night at the farm, I was very uncomfortable, had trouble with my neck could hardly lay down, then in the small hours, it started in my chest and back. Well old bright spark here thought I was having a Cardiac episode (Like they say in Days of Our Lives, who watches that rubbish, I DO) I lay there and panicked for a couple of hours. When Tony woke I said I think must go home, he had a few things to finish off, no prob. Eventually we set off, did not want to worry the old man. It takes an hour to get back to Johannesburg. Then I said I think we must go to the Clinic, eventually arrive there, have all the toot and they say not episode but lung infection. Well we all relaxed a bit. All were jumping down my throat, now that I was not on my way out. Because I did not tell how bad I thought it was. OH Well, all well that ends well. At least I got to see my Darling Babies!!!!! Now u can see why some people put these episodes on !!! LOL

PLEASE DEAR LORD

Calling all South Africans (and others) to pray at this CRITICAL time, for GOD to give our country the right President. 2 Chronicles 7 v 14 dIf my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.Proverbs 29 v 2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
Please, pray for our Country
PRAYER IN ACTION WILL ONLY TAKE SECONDS
'Heavenly Father, thank you that we can take comfort in the fact that you are in control of every situation. We pray for a godly, honest leader for our country, South Africa . God YOU make the impossible, possible. We pray for a leader who will bring peace and reconciliation to our land. We pray that YOUR people in South Africa will keep their eyes on YOU and that you will bless them. Please protect all innocent South Africans from the violence in our country. We pray this in the precious name of JESUS.'
