GREAT IDEAS FOR THIS YEAR

Hi all my wonderful friends,  I have decided that I am going to broaden my outlook this year and try a lot of new and marvelous  methods, of paper crafting  must not get caught up with challenges only, love them though, but a bit of a tunnel vision for me.
Last year I bought myself a Zutter, now I have decided I must go into this and learn how to make little books and journals etc. etc.
I have so much stuff that stands around doing nothing, I feel quite ashamed of myself.  So will be looking for a lot of tutorials on how to use what.   AND  to cut it all pardon the pun I want to buy myself a Silhouette Cameo  I have the Studio, but not too sure about that, think the bigger one is better any ideas for me please.  I think the cameo cuts thicker card,   I have a lot of trouble cutting with the studio.  I have great intentions of going next week,  but my damn car needs a  cam done or something, so cannot go till that get done, and all people are on holiday.    To try and get a Doctor is terrible, I know all must have holidays,  but this is ludicrous.  !!!!  I seem to be straying away from the point a bit sorry.   I am going to make a Rosette now and show you all.   Something else I want to know I have a crafters  companion,  but think maybe I need a score board, if so which one.
Something else I have a Xyron  Permanent Adhesive  - create a sticker,   who in there right mind wants one of those, bought it years ago, been sitting on a shelf gathering dust..
I do not want to mentions the Patch work Material I have!!!!!!

HANGING CANDLES

These are hanging candles made out of bottles and a candle,  ideal for outside, they are so pretty lit,  will stick one here this afternoon:

MATILDA

I love this little girl,  I got the stamps from the UK.  it is the first time I have done her, coloured her with pencil water colour pencils, and then blend with a wet fine paint brush.   I have not got colours for her skin, so I am a bit stuck.   We are having a Hobby show this week end so I am hoping to buy something for her skin.  Of course lots of other goodies.  I often wish I could pop over to the USA or the UK for Crafty goodies, I would be in a hell of a state making up my mind what to buy.

LITTLE BOX

Here is the little box I made,  it was good fun,  now I must think of putting  something in,  my thinking cap is on.

ADVENT CALENDERS

I made two of these one for Lee and one for Cassidy, I made them out of match boxes covered in scrapbook paper one row at a time then stuck them all together,  covered the little box drawers and numbered them, in I popped a little treat.

 I enjoyed doing them but next year must start a long way ahead of time, got them done just in time for the 1 Dec.

CAROLS BY CANDLE LIGHT

We had a good evening at Candy Castle, Cassidy's nursery school, and what a jolly crowd they were, it rained, but someone was looking after us cause for the actural performance not a drop.
Then we all had a picnic supper and off we went home to reflect on our clever granddaughter!!!

The elements were a free gift for me, but I have received so many free gifts from so many wonderful suppliers that I have forgotten who sent it to me, but I will work it out and let you know, or I might go to jail. !!!!!

GIMP

I remember once some girls were saying they liked Gimp. It is like Paint Shop I think.
I found a disk with it on the other day, and installed it now must try and get
going with it. Does any of you girls have any ideas for me, always ready to
pick someones brains. I find that easier than trying to find information and
read up about it. I would love to design a page or two, but have no idea about how to
go about it. Angela from Toucan Scraps gave some lesson at Rakscraps, which I must go back to and try and finish the course, it was very good, and somewhere to start.

FUN TIME

I made this pretty little flower yesterday out of paper, got all instructions from CRAFTUPRINT. I must say, I quite like it myself.

This programme, seemed to pop onto my hard drive, it is called FUN TIME http://www.universalscrapbook.com/index.aspx. Is there anyone out there in the mysterious world of cyber happen to know how the hell I managed to get it onto this poor Laptop of mine, It is a wonder the poor thing does not give up the ghost. What I get up to here is a sin, not mortal I hope. Wish I had an I.T. person living next door, sure they would move quickly but till then I got them.

BEADING

I went to Beading lessons to day and this is what I made. It was so interesting, so must get going I have a friend who (On Monday) had a triple bypass, will make her one to get well soon, hope she likes it. I know she will get well shortly, these ops are such a common thing, like having a tooth out. In some ways medicine is so clever and then in other one wonders what the hell they know !!!!!!

BIRTHDAY CARD

I made this card for Tracy's Mother in Law, it is her birthday on Sunday. I am really trying to improve BUT!!!!
Will not give up, hoping (do not know if it is two p's or one) those of you having a look will come back and over time see how I have improved.
I am going to enter a composition in a few days time will post it here, not expecting to win, that's not the attitude I know, Oh well we will see.
