Tony and I went down to the Cape to celebrate Jim Caulkin's 70th Birthday. We spent the two nights in Fishhoek at the wine Estate , The Chamonois, it was great a little cottage out in the vine fields. The party was held at La Douronne, Fishhoek. There were so many of our mutual friend there if felt like a reunion. Tony bought me a lovely Cannon 400D so of course I took it and made a nucience of myself. took quite a few photos, will try and include a few here.
Sunday morning had a good breakfast at one of the many restuarants (Franchhoek is supposed to be the food capital of South Africca) and left with Pete to go and have lunch with him in Table View, as usual very well done, enjoyed it, had Sushi and Grilled Monk fish.
Later left and went on to Fish Hoek our destination and stayed their for 5 days at "AWhale of a Time" and we saw whales, normally there are no whales in False Bay in the winter, but very lucky.
