I got this Rose from my Face Book Friend Jean Maquire. It is so beautiful and the colour is magnificent, If I could grow one like this I would be a very happy me.

Tony loves gardening, when he retired I handed the job over to him with love. He does everything meticulously so he spends a lot of time deciding and looking and making desicions out what and where with the help of his books etc. It keeps him buzy and me more time for this.

UMBRELLA THORN

The botanical name is Acacia Tortilis which is derived from the Greek Akis meaning a point or barb which referes to the thorns and Tortilis means swisted, refering to the shape of the pod.

The tree is semi - deciduous which grows up to 20 m. and dianostic featture is the dense flat crown.

I love them my favorite tree but they do not grow in the colder climate. So I cannot have one in my garden.
