PINCHUSION PROTEA

We are leaving the Cape Peninsular tomorrow, had a great time, met up with our friends. We leave with sad hearts because one of our oldest and dearest friends is very sick, and we are not close enough to pop in and give him our love and kisses. He has our prayers and thoughts.
May God be with with our Darling.

While we were in Fishhoek we stayed at a place on the bay, overlooking the beach, a very good spot for watching whales. Nautilus Lodge.

Hi Pumpy ... It sounds like you've had a wonderful time on your visit and the pictures are just beautiful. I will, of course, never see your part of the world now but looking at the pictures you post is the next best thing! :)

I'm sorry to hear that your friend is ill. Poor health is one of the less enjoyable things of our retirement years.

Thanks for "keeping an eye on me" as I certainly need watching!!! :>)

Spellekussings is een van my gunsteling Protea spesies. Die berge op ons plaas, tussen PE en Uitenhage waar ek groot geraak het, was vol van hierdie spellekussings en ons het gereel tydens die blomseisoen potte vol daarvan in die huis gehad. Ai, ek dink nou ver terug.
Mooi bly.
