THE FARM

About 20 years ago, 1990 to be exact, Tony bought this farm about 10 miles from Parys. It 9,6 hectares on the banks of the Vaal River. We come here often about every two weeks. Fred and Maureen, my brother and sister-in-law live on the property. So when I talk of the farm you know what I am talking about. Over the years we have lots of fun, every Old years eve we used to have a party here, all brought their tents and food and we braaied and drank and made merry. The atmostphere was wonderful. The next day cleared up and away they all went. We don't have the New Year parties any more, cause sometimes someone or other got a bit upitty and caused trouble for those who were not upitty!!!! Tony and I sit at home now and go to bed long before the New Year. Nice about getting old you do not miss all the fun and kdkdkdkd we put up with. Hugh and Megan came a few years ago, with their two children, and we had Glens family, and ours. We don't see much of Hugh and family, as they live in Australia, as most South African's seem to do.
